Johanians at St. John Institution inaugurated its 2009 Scout investiture for it's newbies on the 28th February. Held at it's School Hall, the all-popular "Eagle Troop" began the night with a special welcome note from Tuan Megat Mizan, Chairman of the Board of Governors and a special address by the newly conferred Bro. Datuk Lawrence, Former Chairman of the Board of Governors.
Advancing forcefully with its glorious past, guests were delighted with short performances from the Patrol members and the night would not be complete without a warm fellowship, over a refreshing meal, specially hand-prepared by the Troop themselves.
Also present at the event was Mr. Kenneth Soh C.W., former Bukit Bintang District Scout Commissioner and Mr. Latiff Abu Hassan, Keramat District Scout Commissioner and other members of the St. John Institution Board of Governors. The night was then concluded with the investiture and Vigil process of their Rover Scouts.
